Lounges Entertainment bring the national touring tribute group -- MELLENCOUGAR -- back to the Hobart Art Theater for the first time in over five years.
MELLENCOUGAR is a group of musicians who play the music of Heartland U.S.A. with a primary focus on the classic songbook of John Cougar Mellencamp -- the hits, the deep cuts, and some surprises. See and hear the band who have rocked John's hometown of Seymour, Indiana itself on past tours.
Opening the night for MELLENCOUGAR will be Northwest Indiana's rising rockers -- THE GEDDY TREZAK BAND. Come early and don't miss Hobart, Indiana's favorite sons.

This performance marks the return of Mellencougar to Hobart Art Theatre in downtown Hobart, IN for the first time in 5 years. Come see the band that has been welcomed to rock the John's own hometown of Seymour, IN, where folks really KNOW and love Mellencamp's music.
Lounges Entertainment has had the pleasure of representing MELLENCOUGAR in the Midwest for nearly twenty years and I'm damn proud to bring them back to the Region this month.

This incredible "Christmas Meets Classic Rock" holiday concert experience has become an annual tradition for Tom Lounges Entertainment, LLC. We are once again happy to bring CLASSICAL BLAST back to Hobart Art Theater for the sixth consecutive year with this incredible live and updated performance.
"DARK SIDE OF THE YULE" is an ever-evolving musical repertoire of uniquely crafted and skillfully arranged holiday music by the remarkably gifted Midwest-based musical ensemble CLASSICAL BLAST.
This incredible and gifted Chicago ensemble of musicians have released five critically acclaimed full length albums, with two of them dedicated entirely to holiday music.
The repertoire of this particular performance includes timeless standards and original numbers, blended and mashed together in a way that makes this production our most anticipated performance of the winter season.
There are original arrangements and mash-ups of musical selections from the songbooks of Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Cranberries, Moody Blues, Metallica, Evanesence, and others.
These familiar and beloved pop/rock songs are creatively mashed-up with Christmas classics, medieval carols, and original holiday songs to create a mind-blowing musical performance."

A Very Eclectic Vinyl Record Store Experience
Tom and I opened the first store in the Spring of 2018 and the second location in the Fall of 2020 here is a little history!
TOM LOUNGES' RECORD BIN is a unique record shop located in Northwest Indiana. We carry new and pre-loved vinyl, Audio-Technica turntables, crystals, t-shirts, CD's, Cassettes, coffee mugs, and other pop culture items, Black Squirrel Crossing Guitar pick Jewelry, and collectibles.
The Hobart store was founded in 2018 in Hobart, Indiana by Tom Lounges, who brings to the business over 40 years experience in various aspects of the music business -- as a radio and television broadcaster, print journalist, artist agent and manager, record label annotator, publicist, and event producer.
He also brings many years of knowledge in running vinyl record stores, having spent years working in such popular Midwest record retail chains as Hegewsich Records and Woodmar Records, along with his debut in the vinyl retail world managing the fledgling single store location of Highland Records in 1977.
We have a booth at the America's Antique Mall in Highland, IN. Booth B30. We modeled it after our store - very organized and everything is labeled and easy to find. Located at 8311 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland, IN 46322

Tom Lounges Record Bin has been the site of the taping/making of live music videos by various artists, a national documentary taping done by the Hard Rock Cafe & Casino organization, and it has been the topic of feature articles in both local and national publications.
The store's slogan is "Where the cool kids go!" because one never knows what celebrity might pop in on any given day. See this site's "Gallery" page for some of those celeb images!
